PBS REAL ESTATE - PROJECT OVERVIEW

Website Redesign Situation: The existing corporate website was done exclusively with Flash. Thus, it was hard to make updates and it was not search engine friendly. New information needed to be incorporated and new site categories needed to be added necessitating a complete overhaul. Solution: The new site utilized a table-based design with CSS styling and Flash animations strategically placed. Corporate branding and images mimicked the new printed corporate identity package. The navigation structure was split into two levels to allow for more “top-level” links. The homepage featured our high profile clients, a brief company philosophy/overview, new press releases, a featured property and a link to opt-in to our email list. My role included the following:

  • Creative/Conceptual Development
  • Information Architecture/User Interface
  • Production – Flash animation, HTML coding
  • Project Management
  • Proofing/Editing

414 WEST 14TH STREET - PROJECT OVERVIEW

Office Leasing Assignment – Dedicated Website Situation: The Landlord for a new Class A office development had already spent over $100K on marketing efforts that had included an expensive bound brochure and print advertising campaign. A basic “brochure” website had been created that mimicked the print book that was done previously. (Most information was handled via PDF download links) Solution: With a limited budget/timeframe, we took existing elements and new assets we had developed and reworked the site. The focus was primarily on the content and communicating more clearly what the development had to offer and the benefits of the neighborhood. The website was included on all our marketing materials and linked to via weekly email marketing blasts to the brokerage community. My role included the following:

  • Creative/Conceptual Development
  • Information Architecture/User Interface
  • Project Management
  • Proofing/Editing

550 SEVENTH AVENUE - PROJECT OVERVIEW

Office Leasing Assignment – Dedicated Website Situation: The owner of a building in the Garment Center needed to inject some excitement into the marketing of several available floors that had been vacant for over a year. We were contracted to market the spaces utilizing email, online and print marketing. Solution: Since the building was located in the Fashion District and housed the showrooms of numerous high profile fashion tenants, we made that the focus of a dedicated website. Using runway fashion images, pulsating music and animating names of the tenants already in the building, we emphasized the “high fashion” persona of the building that would appeal to potential fashion tenants. Within 6 months, all the remaining available spaces were leased. My role included the following:

  • Creative/Conceptual Development
  • Production – Flash animation, audio editing
  • Project Management
  • Proofing/Editing

475 TENTH AVENUE - PROJECT OVERVIEW

Office Leasing Assignment – Web Campaign Situation: The owners of the original McGraw-Hill building, who had been primarily focused on renting to industrial tenants at inexpensive rents, were looking to attract tenants to a “fringe” area of Manhattan that was starting to look attractive due to rents increasing dramatically in the years since 9/11. Solution: The building had an impressive clientele and the area was poised to be at the center of the development of the Hudson Railyards project and new subway service. Since the building location was a drawback, we highlighted the existing tenants in the building and showed how the neighborhood was up and coming. The link below incorporates some elements from the building website along with an animation to show it’s proximity to the development sites. This website was part of a dedicated online ad banner placement with Costar – a major commercial real estate listing service. Within a year, all available spaces in the building were leased. My role included the following:

  • Creative/Conceptual Development
  • Production – HTML coding, image optimization
  • Project Management
  • Proofing/Editing
